Dragan Avirovik received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech in May 2009 and was then a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering working under Dr. Shashank Priya. His research was aimed towards the biomedical robotics field with a specific focus in developing a medical device for very delicate and intricate surgical procedures.
